A Letter from the Rho Chapter President Fall 2026 – Spring 2027

 

Welcome! We are thrilled that you've taken an interest in Alpha Omega Epsilon and all that we do at the Rho Chapter here at Virginia Tech. We can't wait to share some of the things we love most about our sisterhood! 
 
The Rho Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon was formed in 2006 as a way for women in STEM to come together and support each other. Since its beginning, Alpha Omega Epsilon has been able to build a sense of community and friendship for hundreds of women in STEM both during and after their time as members of the sorority. We have been able to grow our connections between alumni and active members which has led to sisters receiving guidance and mentorship along with internship and job opportunities.  
 
Our pillars of professionalism, service, and sisterhood have guided our sorority and have led to incredible accomplishments. We have sisters that participate in various organizations on campus, participate in academic research on campus, work at amazing internships over the summer, and continue on to graduate and professional school. Best of all, these are all accomplished with the support of our sisters.  
 
Join us for informal recruitment events this Fall, with formal recruitment happening early in the Spring. Stay updated through our Instagram or by signing up for our listserv. We look forward to meeting you soon!
